Loading decks with conveyors for optimal feeding of your wood processor.
Adaptable to the XYLOG 410 and 420 firewood processors, the loading decks or platforms are ideal accessories to facilitate and secure the log loading process into the sawing/splitting combination unit.
The range of loading platforms consists of 3 models, a simple version and two chain versions. The SIMPLE model with a length of 1.47 meters features a line of unravelling rollers located at the output of the deck, which tilts the log onto the machine’s feed conveyor. It is recommended to add a motorized notched roller between the deck and the feed conveyor to facilitate the placement of the wood on the conveyor, avoiding premature wear.
The 3 or 5-meter models, on the other hand, are equipped with chains that move the logs in a regular and orderly manner towards the intermittently rotating unravelling rollers. These rollers then drop the log onto a set of diabolos that guide the wood towards the machine’s feed conveyor.
These loading supports for combination units are hydraulically controlled from the control station. Robust, they accept all types of wood. By minimizing handling, they make the loading process faster and more efficient, thereby contributing to increased productivity.
