After the leaf vacuum on the WINDY 491 RE truck with sides, RABAUD expands its range with two models on compact and extremely maneuverable road chassis, the WINDY 491 and 660 ME.
These thermal leaf vacuums have the particularity of being towed by any type of light vehicle on roads up to 130 km/h with a simple B license, facilitating their movement from one site to another.
Designed to vacuum very large volumes of leaves, these vacuums have a suction hose offset from the turbine to avoid clogging. The turbine is equipped with large removable blades and a large-diameter scroll allowing a significant airflow for optimal suction and good declogging of wet leaves.
Adjustable on the WINDY 660 ME, the discharge chute allows for the precise discharge of leaves into leaf bags or compost bins. Fixed on the 491 ME model, it allows for discharge into a trailer when hitched to a dump truck. A RABAUD bed liner kit can then be effective in confining the leaves in the trailer.
A partner for municipalities or service providers in the autumn season, this road maintenance equipment helps prevent the obstruction of gutters, drains… to limit the risks of falls and the proliferation of insects or mold.

- 2 models on road trailer with jockey wheel, light ramp, ball coupling.
- Powered by a 14 HP or 22 HP petrol heat engine, with electric battery start.
Engine GUARANTEED 3 years. - Big diameter turbine (490 mm on WINDY 491 and 660 mm on WINDY 660) for more air flow. Turbine casing with 5-year guarantee.
- Side shifted rotor to avoid accumulation and therefore early stuffing, with easy removable blades.
- More security : the turbine is stopped in less thank 10 sec. thanks to the hydraulic brake (WINDY 491).
- 5 m sleeve mounted on swiveling support with handle and wheels.
- Fixed outlet blower on WINDY 491 and 360° swivel on WINDY 660.
Folding discharge chute for transport. - Approved road trailer weighing less than 750 kg. Conventional driving licence is sufficient.
