Hydraulic post pointers : BIFACE / QUADRIFACE
Post pointers for agricultural use, supplying an output of 250 posts per hour. The posts are ready to be driven easily into the ground.
RABAUD, a major actor in the wood-post industry, offers a range of high-performance hydraulic post sharpeners for fence creation: the BIFACE 240, 350, and the QUADRIFACE 250.
These post sharpeners allow for the quick sharpening on 2 or 4 sides of posts of all types, whether round or split, with a diameter ranging from 240 to 350 mm depending on the model.
Attached to a three-point tractor, these post sharpeners exist in PH version, driven by the tractor’s pump, or in CH version, driven by the power take-off and requiring an independent hydraulic unit.
To better adapt to the type of soil, the sharpening angle and the point section are adjustable.
Once inserted, the post presses against a pallet that will then automatically trigger the knives, mounted on solid slides for greater robustness. For the QUADRIFACE 250, the knives are triggered by the operator via an electro-hydraulic pedal. Sharpening on this model is done on all 4 sides at once.
For added safety, the operator can command the knives to retract through a handle. These knives, mounted on springs, quickly disengage in case of encountering an obstacle without damaging either the post or the machine.
