Log splitter for pre-splitting large logs. Especially designed for forestry workers, woodsmen… 45 tons of power.
In order to facilitate the splitting process for very large diameter woods, RABAUD offers foresters, loggers, or CUMA members a horizontal hydraulic log splitter with a power of 45 tons.
This professional wood splitter allows the division of large logs before passing them through a combined sawing/splitting machine or to the splitter.
The splitting is done by a pusher that slides on a NYLATRON slide through a hydraulic cylinder, allowing the splitting of logs up to 2.60 meters long and of any diameter!
The star-shaped splitting wedge can split the log into 2 or 4 pieces in a single pass. Hydraulically adjustable in height, it adjusts to the center of the log, adapting to the diameter of the wood.
For better working comfort and greater autonomy, splitting is done through a remote control with an automatic cycle from the driver’s seat.
Driven by the tractor power take-off, the horizontal log splitter has a hydraulic unit with a double-flow pump, perfect for use in CUMA without risk to your carrier. This professional wood splitter has many options and configurations such as an XYLOGRUE forestry crane for wood placement, a moving axle for greater mobility on the site, road approval… giving it even more versatility!
