Tractor lifting beam
Lifter for handling all common types of railway sleepers: wooden or concrete, monobloc or bi-bloc.
RABAUD simplifies the laying of railway sleepers with its fixed traveleurs lifting beams. With a lifting capacity of 625 to 1250 kg and a wide opening, they ensure safe handling of various types of sleepers in wood, concrete, metal, single or double-block construction, from 2.35 to 2.57 metres.
Adaptable to carriers fitted with a handling arm, such as excavators and lorry cranes, this railway equipment comes in three models enabling 2 or 4 sleepers to be installed simultaneously, thus reducing handling.
Depending on the model, the distance between sleepers can be adjusted up to 0.60 m to comply with standards and guarantee good track stability while reducing noise and vibrations when trains pass overhead. A way of automating the measurement process to save time and limit potential errors.
For even greater versatility, this sleeper laying tool is equipped with a rotator to rotate the load through 360°, ideal for precise, effortless positioning along a line.
For added safety when handling sleepers, the opening locks automatically as soon as the tool is suspended.
Thanks to its sturdiness and lifting performance, this equipment offers great working comfort and increases productivity.
