The semi-automatic post barker ROBOPEL 250 barks roundwoods of all species ranging from 40 to 250 mm in diameter.
This model consists of a peeling system with a disk driven by the power take-off of your tractor, rotating at 1500 revolutions per minute. It comprises 6 sharpenable knives that come into contact with the wood for highly efficient barking.
The operation of ROBOPEL allows for a simple and quick setup. The operator inserts the post by placing it on a support with inflatable wheels. Using a pedal, the operator separates two notched rollers to trap the post between them. These, driven by the hydraulic pump of the tractor, move the post towards the barking disk while rotating it for even barking. The operator does not touch the post throughout the barking phase, it is automatic. A completely barked post is retrieved at the machine’s exit.
To adapt to different types of posts and ensure quality work, the feed rate and pressure force of these rollers are adjustable.
To prevent knife clogging, the wooden post barker is equipped with a chip evacuation blower that can direct waste directly to the ground or into a trailer for recycling.
